Classroom and Workshop Teacher
My ten year career as a teacher began with children in a classroom setting, and now I teach workshops and graduate-level courses. I plan to teach workshops for children in the future.
My subjects include ecopsychology, ecotherapy, terrapsychology, reconnecting with nature, deep ecology, dreams, dreams and art, photography, mindful/local eating, sustainability, and consciousness.
Past Classes and Events
April 2, 2011: Divine Dreaming Workshop with Leila Jo Crawford of Crafting the Sacred. Combining dreams, art, and the Tarot, you will bring a dream and walk away with a collage that honors the dream and brings its energy forth.
2:30 to 5 p.m. at the East Bay Healing Collective in Berkeley, CA.
Teaching Experience
I earned my elementary teaching license from the University of Colorado, Denver in 2003.
2010: Teaching assistant for Dr. Craig Chalquist’s Planetary Psychology class, a graduate-level class at JFK University, summer quarter.
2009: Teaching assistant for Dr. Kimmy Johnson’s Ancestral Healing class, a graduate-level class at JFK University, spring quarter.
2008: Taught course Introduction to Dreams through City of Concord.
2005-2008: SAT prep, writing, and English in-home tutor. Worked with junior high and high school students.
2002-2004: Student teacher and substitute teacher in Colorado elementary schools while earning elementary teaching license.
2001-2004: Director of Education, diagnostician, and tutor for Sylvan Learning Centers in California and Colorado.
